JUNIOR INSTRUCTORS

Welcoming Our New Junior Instructors
At our dojo, karate is more than just learning techniques—it’s about discipline, respect, and passing on knowledge to others. This month, we are proud to recognise four outstanding students who have taken the next step in their martial arts journey by earning the title of Junior Instructor:
Edward
Charlotte
Jacob
Isla
These dedicated students have demonstrated exceptional skill, leadership, and commitment to their training. Their hard work, perseverance, and willingness to support others have made them stand out as role models within the dojo.
What It Means to Be a Junior Instructor
Becoming a junior instructor is an important milestone. It’s not just about excelling in karate but also about learning to teach, encourage, and support fellow students. Edward, Charlotte, Jacob, and Isla will now take on the responsibility of assisting in classes, helping younger and less experienced students refine their techniques, build confidence, and develop strong foundations in karate.
The Grading Process
Earning the junior instructor title was no small feat. Each candidate went through a challenging assessment that tested their physical ability, technical knowledge, and teaching skills. They demonstrated strong kata and practical self-defence applications. But just as importantly, they showed the patience, communication, and leadership required to be effective instructors.
Watching them rise to the challenge was truly inspiring. They didn’t just perform well—they proved that they are ready to take on the responsibility of guiding others in their karate journey.
The Future Ahead
As junior instructors, Edward, Charlotte, Jacob, and Isla will continue to develop their teaching abilities under the guidance of senior instructors. They will serve as role models within the dojo, inspiring and mentoring their fellow students while deepening their own understanding of karate.
We are incredibly proud of their achievements and look forward to seeing them grow in their new roles. Congratulations to our newly graded junior instructors!
