This summer, KEKO Karate England’s Dai Senpai, Summer, had the incredible opportunity to meet two of the most iconic figures in martial arts pop culture—William Zabka (Johnny Lawrence) and Ralph Macchio (Daniel LaRusso) from The Karate Kid and Cobra Kai.

The meeting took place during a special event where martial artists and fans gathered to celebrate the legacy and continued influence of karate across generations. For Summer, a dedicated Senior Instructor and role model at KEKO, it was an unforgettable experience to connect with the actors whose on-screen journeys have inspired millions.

Adding to the excitement, William Zabka recorded a special shoutout video for KEKO Karate England, recognising the hard work and spirit of our club.
